Falguni Shah M.D.
Board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Dr. Falguni Shah grew up in India and graduated from the reputed medical institution, B.J.Medical College. After arriving to the US, she trained at the tertiary care center of Children's Hospital of Montefiorre in New York, where she completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. 

She  worked as the Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Outpatient Services at the Children's Hospital of Montefiorre , NY, before moving to NJ as the Chief of Pediatric Infectious Disease Division at St. Barnabas Medical Center, where she gained more experience in treating children with many different debilitating infections. She currently is a member of the Medical staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston NJ  and The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood NJ, and a member of the antibiotic stewardship initiative at Valley Hospital.  

Learning about infection causing bacteria, viruses and other microbes has been a lifelong passion for her. She cares deeply about her patients and families and spends adequate time with patients to make sure that not only a comprehensive evaluation is done, but that all of parent's questions are answered. With more than 20 years of experience, in leadership positions at various tertiary care centers , expert knowledge regarding complex infections and extreme diligence, she takes utmost care of all her patients. 

We provide a concierge service at our boutique medical office with devoted time for all of your questions not only during but after the visit as well. We understand that understanding of an illness cannot be rushed and we take utmost care in making sure you do not feel rushed through the consultation. Dr. Shah makes herself accessible at all times to speak with you on the phone or in person to answer all your questions regarding your child's illness. 

Dr. Shah volunteers her time at the Atlantic Health Center Hospice with terminally ill patients when not working with her own patients. She also participates in medical missions internationally, the last few being in Philippines and Peru. Her latest efforts for Covid releif in India resulted in 100,000$ worth of medical equipment donations to various rural areas in India.
